NCFCSDC Minutes, Rainbow River
March 11, 2006

The President Michael Scarabino called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. in the Rainbow Springs Pavilion. Host and Hostess for the meeting was Charles and Ann Grant. Michael expressed his appreciation for their arranging the meeting and thanked them. It was second by the members.
Michael read the letter of resignation from Charlotte Delli. She is resigning due to medical reasons and to moving back to Georgia. Martha Cade has accepted the chairperson for
the Southeastern Zone Meet. Carol Goodrich has agreed to do the monthly newsletter. These changes were approved by the members. Edith Fifer suggested we as a club write a letter of appreciation with the members signing it for Charlotte. This was approved by the members. The letter of appreciation will be at the next meeting in Gainesville.
The minutes from February 18, 2006 were approved as read. Some of the Monthly Meetings have been posted in the March Turning Wheels in the What's Happening Section. The rest of the Meetings will be posted in the April issue.
Treasury Report - Ronda Scarabino reported a starting balance of $2,800 and ending balance of $xx.xx in the account. Carol Goodrich is making a new registration form for our club.
Next Meeting - at The Pole Barn, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 am Jerry Fairchild will be barbecuing with the members providing salad and/or desserts. At this meeting all the plans for the Zone Meet will be finalized. Please bring anything you have collected for the goody bags. We will do an assembly line to stuff the bags.
Zone Meet Update - Martha Cade gave a report on each committee.
There are still rooms reserved at Best Western Motel for the Zone Meet. If you call the motel be sure to get the name of the person helping you. Report any problems to Martha.
Program Flyer - Danny is putting together flyer of times and events. Let him know if you have something that needs to be included.
Hospitality - there will be slide show of previous car shows, finger food and lunch. We still need more finger food for munchies. Please call Martha if you can bring some.
Registration - will be outside of hospitality room. Hours - Friday 3 - 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 11: a.m.
50/50 - the drawing will be at the banquet. Vickie Williams will be in charge.
Security at night - Bobby Cade is in charge.
Judges - Stephen Cade The judges will wear bright yellow shirts. The judges will meet in Stephen's room(executive suite) Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m.
Banquet - black and gold -Everyone is encouraged to dress in the period of the roaring twenties. Please come dressed for the occasion.
Plaques - Jeff Rice will have the plaques at the next meeting. The plaques will have a letter of authenticity and the name of the building it came from.
Cold water wagon - A wagon filled with cold water and Gatorade will be provided.
Information - the members in black shirts will answer questions - where, when, etc. Anyone can volunteer for any of the listed committees. We welcome help.
50/50 - drawing was won by Peg Goodrich. This concluded the meeting.
