President Stephen Cade called the meeting to order at 7:45pm and new members were introduced to the club.
New Business
State Meet - October 2001
- Edith Fifer reported that a person is in charge of banquets and conferences at the Best Western on NW 39th Avenue and I-75 in Gainesvillle and will help with all arrangements. Martha Cade and Danny Thomas will also look into the new University of Florida Hotel and Conference Center (Doubletree) on NW 34th Street in Gainesvillle as a possible site for the state meet.
- Stephen Cade then asked for volunteers to fill key positions needed for the meet.
1) Chairman of Hospitality - Kepps the hospitality suite stocked and running.

2) Cheif Judge - Will appoint other judges and oversee judging

3) Registration Chairman - Car registration, banquet tickets, money collection, goody bags, etc.

4) Promtions - Design the meet logo. Produce shirts, hats, flyers

5) Vendors - Provide space, tables, setup.

6) 50/50 Tickets & Sales

7) Parking - includes signs, cones, & car wash facilities

8) Disc Jockey - Arranges DJ for the event

Nominations were made and then voted on to fill the seats.

New Dues Schedules
Long Standing Members - Dues to be paid by January 1, 2000
Join between January 1 & June 30 - Pay full dues ($15.00)
Join between July 1 & December 31 - Pay half dues ($ 7.50)
Exempt from fees by January 1, 2000 are members who have joined since
September 1, 2000
Roger Thelin moved to have a “Lifetime Membership” rate of $350.00
