North Central Florida Chapter of the SDC
Minutes - December 5, 1999
Burger King (University) - Gainesville, Florida
President Stephen Cade called the meeting to order. There were 17 members in attendance.
- Charity Car Show - The car show was held at Sams Club on 12.04.99. Our club was well represented with 8 members in attendance. It was discussed that our chapter sponsor this event next year. Russell Lane agreed to check into what we need to do to put on this car show.
- Other Locations? - The club discussed not always having the meetings in Gainesville
- Membership Director - Barry Thelin was elected as the chapters membership director
- Insurance - Roger Thelin made a suggestion that the officers get insurance for liability. He agrees to check into that. Once the chapter is approved by the SDC, the chapter would be covered
- Tax Info - Carol has applied for a tax number for the chapter. The club has no bank account as of this meeting
- Next Meeting - January 9, 2000: Roy Mays home in Williston. The club also agreed that the club would meet monthly.
